Jaundice starting within the first 24 hours of birth, or spreading down to the belly, palms, and soles, needs immediate doctor evaluation to protect the baby's brain.
Can my baby get phototherapy done here without hospital admission?
Yes. For moderate jaundice, phototherapy can be given under close monitoring in our day-care setting, with frequent feeding breaks and regular bilirubin tracking.
How often should a newborn feed in the first month?
Most newborns feed 8 to 12 times in 24 hours (every 2 to 3 hours). If a baby sleeps continuously past 3.5 hours, they should be gently awakened to feed.
Do you have baby warmers for low birth weight infants?
Yes. We have radiant warmers to safely maintain temperature for small and low-birth-weight babies.
